Community Advisory Action Board

The Advance-CTR CAAB is a governance board that reflects Rhode Island’s diverse community

About the Community Advisory Action Board (CAAB)

The mission of the Community Advisory Action Board (CAAB) is to translate research from Advance RI-CTR into clinical public health practice and policy. The CAAB Chair, Bianca Policastro, and CAAB members meet quarterly to solicit community feedback about research projects and to propose research projects to the CEO Core and all CTR affiliated scholars, trainees and staff. Additionally, CAAB members help the CEO Core facilitate effective communication and development of academic-community partnership teams while helping define the priorities of Advance RI-CTR.
