The Inaugural RI-AI4H Symposium Is a Success!

On July 23rd, 2026, nearly one-hundred Rhode Island data scientists, healthcare professionals, students, and community members gathered at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University to explore real-world AI solutions for Rhode Island’s health challenges.
Along with many others in Rhode Island’s research community, we were profoundly saddened to learn of the sudden passing of James F. Padbury, MD, who among his numerous roles, served as the inaugural principal investigator of Advance RI-CTR.
