Joseph Nardolillo, PharmD

Clinical Assistant Professor, University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy

Biography

Joseph Nardolillo is a board-certified ambulatory care pharmacist and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy within the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Clinical Research. His research interests include lipidology, cardiovascular risk reduction of underserved populations, health equity, implicit bias, and LGBTQIA+ health. As a clinical pharmacist within the Rhode Island Primary Care Physicians Corporation, he supports patients and providers in the Care New England Pawtucket Internal Medicine Clinic by managing cardiometabolic diseases and executing population health initiatives. Dr. Nardolillo’s research mentorship efforts include collaboration with Doctor of Pharmacy students, often coaching them through their first research experience as well as precepting research rotations for the PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residents. 

Dr. Nardolillo earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy and completed postgraduate residencies with the Indian Health Service and the University of Colorado. Most recently, he earned a Graduate Certificate in Public Health from Wayne State University and is currently completing his Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a concentration in Health Outcomes at the University of Rhode Island.
